How Can I Delete My Account?

All deletion requests must be submitted through the “Write Us” section in the RUUT app.

How Can I Terminate My Profile?

Below you will find the procedures for closing your RUUT account or profile, depending on your account type and role. All deletion and closure requests must be submitted through the "Write Us" section within the RUUT app.

RUUT Personal Account Holders (United Kingdom)

Option 1: Leave RUUT and close your profile

  1. Ensure your bank account balance is zero. You can transfer any remaining balance to another bank account.
  2. Confirm there are no pending incoming or outgoing transfers in your account.
  3. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the RUUT app and submit your request. Our support team will complete all necessary checks before proceeding to close your account and RUUT profile.

Once this process is completed, you will not be able to log back into RUUT with the same user information. Any associated virtual and physical cards (if available) will also be deactivated and cancelled.

RUUT Personal Account Holders (United Kingdom)

Option 2: Keep your RUUT profile and close only the bank account

  1. Follow the steps above to ensure zero balance and no pending transfers.
  2. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the app and submit your request.
  3. Our support team will carry out all the necessary checks and then close your account, but your RUUT profile will remain active.

This will allow you to remain in the RUUT World and you will be able to easily re-open your RUUT bank account at any time. When you close your RUUT bank account, any associated virtual and physical cards (if available) will be deactivated and cancelled. You will not be able to reactivate these cards.

RUUT Personal & Business Account Holders (United Kingdom) — Admin Role

Option 1: Leave RUUT and close your profile

  1. Ensure your bank account balance is zero. You can transfer any remaining balance to another bank account.
  2. Confirm there are no pending incoming or outgoing transfers in your account.
  3. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the RUUT app and submit your request. Our support team will complete all necessary checks before proceeding to close your account and RUUT profile.

Once this process is completed, you will not be able to log back into RUUT with the same user information. This action will end your Admin role on the business account, but you will not have the authority to close the company's main account. Any associated virtual and physical cards (if available) will be deactivated and cancelled. The Admin role does not provide authority to close the main company account. However, you can easily close the 2nd and/or 3rd company bank accounts through the "Accounts" section in the app.

Option 2: Keep your RUUT profile and close only the personal bank account

  1. Follow the steps above to ensure zero balance and no pending transfers.
  2. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the app and submit your request.
  3. Our support team will carry out all necessary checks and close your account, but your RUUT profile will remain active.

This will allow you to remain in the RUUT World and you can easily re-open a RUUT personal bank account at any time, maintaining your Admin role and privileges on the company account.

RUUT Personal & Business Account Holders (United Kingdom) — Super Admin Role

Option 1: Leave RUUT and close your profile

  1. Ensure all bank accounts have zero balance. You can transfer any remaining balance to another bank account.
  2. Confirm there are no pending incoming or outgoing transfers in your account.
  3. If you are on the Business Plus Plan, downgrade your RUUT Business subscription plan to Business Essential.
  4. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the app and submit your request. Our support team will complete all necessary checks before proceeding to close your account and RUUT profile.

Once this process is completed, you cannot access RUUT again with the same user details. Your personal and any business virtual and physical cards (if available) will be deactivated and cancelled, and you cannot reactivate them.

RUUT Personal & Business Account Holders (United Kingdom) — Super Admin Role

Option 2: Close your RUUT profile but keep the company accounts active

  1. Ensure your bank account balance is zero.
  2. Assign a new team member as the Super Admin. This person should be one of the company's partners or directors (as registered with Companies House).
  3. Contact us via the "Write Us" section of the RUUT application and submit your request.
  4. To transfer the Super Admin role, you will need to fill in and sign the sample document that our support team will send you. Provide the name, phone number and email address of the person you wish to transfer the role to. Scan the signed document and a copy of an official document with a sample signature (ID card, passport, residence permit, etc.) and send it to our support team.

Our support team will complete all necessary checks before proceeding to close your RUUT profile. Once this process has been completed, you will not be able to access RUUT again with the same user details. Your POS membership and any virtual and physical cards (if available) will be deactivated and cancelled. The newly appointed Super Admin will continue to keep the company accounts active.

Option 3: Close the RUUT Business main bank account

  1. Ensure all bank accounts have zero balance.
  2. Confirm there are no pending incoming or outgoing transfers in your account.
  3. If you are on the Business Plus Plan, downgrade your RUUT Business subscription plan to Business Essential.
  4. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the app and submit your request.

Our support team will complete all necessary checks before proceeding to close your RUUT account. If you only want to close 2nd and/or 3rd company bank accounts, you can easily do this from the "Accounts" section in the application.

Option 4: Close only the personal bank account

  1. Ensure there is no balance left in your personal bank account. You can transfer the remaining balance to a different bank account.
  2. Confirm there are no pending incoming/outgoing transfer transactions in your personal account.
  3. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the app and submit your request.

Our support team will carry out all the necessary checks and then close your account, but your RUUT profile will remain active. This will allow you to remain in the RUUT World and you will be able to easily re-open your RUUT bank account at any time. In this case, your Super Admin role and privileges on the company account will be maintained.

Business Account Customers (Türkiye) — Admin Role

Leaving RUUT and closing your profile

  1. Contact us through the "Write Us" section in the RUUT app. After our support team completes all necessary checks, they will proceed to close your account and deactivate your RUUT profile.

Once this process is completed, you will not be able to log back into RUUT with the same user information. You do not have the authority to close the main company account with the "Admin" role, but closing your profile will terminate the Admin role associated with the company account. Any virtual and physical commercial cards linked to your account (if available) will also be deactivated and cancelled, and it will not be possible to reactivate these cards. If you want to close the 2nd and/or 3rd company bank accounts, you can easily do this through the "Accounts" section within the app.
