Transfer questions, clear answers

Everything you need to know about sending and receiving money with your RUUT Business account.

To send money within the UK using the Faster Payments network, you'll need the recipient's full name (first and last name), account number, and sort code (bank branch code). After logging into the RUUT app, click on the 'Send money' option and enter the recipient's details and the amount you wish to send. After reviewing the information, confirm the transfer.

Sending money to another RUUT user is instant and free. Open the RUUT app, tap 'Send money', search for the recipient by their RUUT tag, phone number or QR code, enter the amount, and confirm — funds land in their account immediately, 24/7.

At the moment, RUUT supports outgoing business transfers within the UK, across the SEPA region, and to Türkiye. We're actively expanding our network and additional corridors will appear in the app as soon as they go live.

Open the RUUT app, head to Profile → Limits and tap 'Request increase'. You'll be asked to provide a short reason and, in some cases, supporting business documents. Our team reviews requests within one business day and you'll be notified in-app the moment your new limit is active.

Everything you need to know about sending and receiving money with your RUUT Business account.
